SignTracker pricing in 2026 and what each shop size pays

SignTracker costs $65 a month for 1 to 2 users, $129 a month for 3 to 5 users and $189 a month for unlimited users. Paying yearly takes 10 percent off, which brings the plans to $58.50, $116.10 and $170.10 a month. Every plan includes the same features, there is no per-user fee and no onboarding fee is listed.

Below are the plan prices from the SignTracker pricing page at the time of writing, what a 1, 2, 5, 6 and 15 person shop pays, the first-year totals, what the price covers and what it does not, and how it lines up with a flat estimating plan. SignEstimator is our product, and we apply the same math to it.

SignTracker plans and prices at a glance

SignTracker sizes its plans by headcount instead of by feature. The page says everything is included with the subscription, along with training and support.

Plan Users Billed monthly Billed yearly, per month Billed yearly, per year Storage
Starter 1 to 2 $65 $58.50 $702 250 GB
Small Teams 3 to 5 $129 $116.10 $1,393.20 500 GB
Built to Scale Unlimited $189 $170.10 $2,041.20 1 TB

There is a 14-day free trial, and at the time of writing the page also advertised 50 percent off the first month for shops that start a trial. Promotions come and go, so treat that as a bonus, not part of the budget. Software directories still show older figures such as $49 per user, so go by the vendor's own page.

What SignTracker costs by number of people

Because the plans jump at 3 and 6 users, the cost per person swings a lot depending on where your headcount lands.

Shop size Plan you need Monthly billing Yearly billing, per month Cost per person per month, yearly
1 person Starter $65 $58.50 $58.50
2 people Starter $65 $58.50 $29.25
5 people Small Teams $129 $116.10 $23.22
6 people Built to Scale $189 $170.10 $28.35
15 people Built to Scale $189 $170.10 $11.34

Two things stand out. A shop with exactly 2 or 5 people gets the best value from its tier. A shop with 6 people pays the unlimited price for one extra login, so think about who really needs an account before you add the sixth. Read-only staff such as installers who only check a job card may not need a seat at all.

First-year cost of SignTracker for three shop shapes

No onboarding package is listed, so the first year is the subscription and nothing else. These totals use list prices at the time of writing.

Shop Plan Year paid monthly Year paid upfront You save by paying yearly
Owner and one helper Starter $780 $702 $78
Front office plus 3 in production Small Teams $1,548 $1,393.20 $154.80
12-person shop with an install crew Built to Scale $2,268 $2,041.20 $226.80

The real first-year cost is also your setup time. Templates, markups and job stages take a few evenings to build however simple the software is. Budget that time in the month you switch, not on top of your busiest season.

What the SignTracker price covers

From SignTracker's own pages, every plan includes quoting templates per job type with markup and margin control, contracts, cloning of past quotes, a job flow board you can share, team task templates, forms and work orders, a shared calendar, contact management, reports, file storage with each job and a QuickBooks link for the online and desktop versions.

That is a solid job management set for the price. What the site does not describe is sign-specific math: square foot or sheet count formulas, LED module and power supply counts, router or printer time at machine rates, or install crew and lift pricing by height. A quoting template with a markup prices repeat work well. It is weaker on custom lit letters, monuments and installs, where the cost moves with every job. If that is where your margin leaks, look at a tool built for channel letter estimating before you look at a cheaper board.

If you connect SignTracker or any other tool to QuickBooks, your bookkeeper still has to bring the bank side in. Shops whose bank only sends PDF statements often convert the bank statement to QuickBooks instead of typing it, which keeps the reconciliation clean at month end.

Is SignTracker worth the price for a sign shop?

For a shop of 6 or more people that mostly needs everyone on the same job board, yes. Unlimited users at $170.10 a month is one of the lowest flat prices in sign shop software. For a 2-person shop at $58.50 a month it is also fair value, if the gap you are filling is tracking jobs and files.

It is less clear when the gap is pricing. If your estimates take an hour each and still miss the power supplies, the second install trip or the lift rental, a job board will show you the loss after the fact instead of preventing it. In that case, spend the money on an estimating engine first and add job tracking later, or pick one tool that does both.

SignTracker pricing compared with SignEstimator

Both tools sell flat plans with seats included, so neither charges per login. Here is the same headcount math side by side.

Shop size SignTracker, yearly per month SignEstimator plan SignEstimator, yearly per month SignEstimator, monthly
1 person $58.50 Solo $24 $49
2 people $58.50 Shop $74 $149
5 people $116.10 Shop $74 $149
15 people $170.10 Team $199 $399

SignTracker is cheaper for a 2-person shop and for a 15-person shop. SignEstimator is cheaper for a solo shop and for a 5-person shop on yearly billing. What you pay for differs: SignEstimator prices every sign from its parts, reads photos, drawings, PDFs and emails into AI drafts (60 to 1,400 a month by plan), and shows the real margin before the quote goes out. The Team plan adds a jobs board, work orders, install calendar and job costing. The full side-by-side is on our SignTracker alternative page, and the wider vendor table is in sign shop software cost.

Six questions to ask before you buy SignTracker

  1. How many people need to log in, and does that land you just over a tier line?
  2. Do you sync with QuickBooks Online or Desktop, and which records go across?
  3. Will your quoting templates cover lit signs and installs, or only repeat print work?
  4. Who builds the templates and job stages, and when will they do it?
  5. What does the plan cost after any first-month promotion ends?
  6. Can you export your customers, quotes and files if you leave later?

The same six questions work for any vendor, including us. Ask them in writing and keep the answers with your budget.

Price a real job before you pick a plan

Take a job you quoted last week. Run it through the SignEstimator demo and compare the line items, sale price and margin with what you sent. If the numbers match, a job board may be all you need. If they do not, the gap is your answer.
